NAMIBIA – A COUNTRY OF CONTRASTS

Barren desert, cooling ocean, treacherous hunting in the veld versus luxurious pampering in the lodges. Some say that Namibia is a land God made in anger, but to us its vast open spaces, beauty, splendor and diversity make it the “smile on the face of Africa”. Namibia became independent in 1990, with a unique constitution and a stable democratic government. Physical infrastructure in Namibia is equivalent to that of first world countries and is maintained to a high standard. People are generally friendly and hospitable.

We recommend flying to Namibia via Frankfurt with Air Namibia as it is a nice overnight flight, arriving in Namibia early mornings. You will be met at the airport by a member of our team and your journey starts to the first lodge where you will arrive and meet the team at the lodge after an app. 2 hour drive.

Situated in central Namibia these hunting areas and lodges are truely unique and home to species such as the Caracal, Wildebeest, Cheetah, Brown Hyena, Giraffe, Leopard, Ostrich, Warthog and two species of Zebra. There are multiple antelope species inhabiting these areas, such as the Blesbuck, Eland, Hartebeest, Impala, Klipspringer, Kudu, Oryx, Roan, Sable, Springbuck, Waterbuck and more. Absolutely nothing goes to waste after a plains game hunt. We give to nature, and nature gives back to us.

This hunting area provides you with the most luxurious accommodation and the lodges allow for some spectacular game viewing during down time. During your stay in namibia you will experiance two very different hunting areas and Lodges.

Lodge 1 is set in a typical Kalahari savannah landscape with red dunes and majestic shepherd’s and camelthorn trees complementing the breathtaking surroundings. The main building and thatched roof chalets are superbly perched on the crest of a dune, so you’ll take in spectacular 360-degree views. Evenings and early mornings are serene with Oryx and Springbok roaming at your doorstep. Lodge 1 is home to certain species that lodge 2 does not have.

Lodge 2 is located a mere 40 minutes from Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport, offers landscapes ranging from savannah grasslands to bushveld and mountains. These diverse sceneries crowned with spectacular sunsets promise every visitor a taste of Africa at its finest. With hills, mountains, dry rivers and rock formations, every corner of this terrain is filled with life. You never know what to expect on a guided walk. Birdlife is spectacular and silence is never quite achieved, as you will either hear jackal calls at night or birdsong during the day. The landscape scenery is surreal, especially on sundowner excursions up the hills. This is a true piece of Africa at its finest.
